Good to see you everyone,

It's been a quiet month on the Enclave front. Baby #3 was born a few weeks and my family's emergency is still ongoing, but things have stabilized enough at this point that I'm still reasonably confident in the updated timeframe I projected last month.

That said, there's still some news!

What's Been Done:

• All Aspirant Classes are fully drafted and in the late stages of the review process!

What's Being Worked On:

• The rest of Aspirant's text (about 95% completed, soon to enter the review process)

BackerKit Surveys

Please fill out your BackerKit Surveys! As of now it looks like about 80% of you have already done so, but please be sure to check your emails and spam folders to see if you missed the survey when it was sent out last month!

If you cannot find the survey email, PLEASE LET ME KNOW (by Email, Discord, Kickstarter PM, or whatever else)! I can manually resend the link if requested!

Additionally, I know a couple of you are waiting on me for responses on BackerKit support questions. I apologize that these are taking a while to process, the recent personal struggles have really set me back, so please hang tight and I'll get to you ASAP!

Enclave Day

On Saturday, April 18th, we will be holding our 14th ever Enclave Day event over on the Discord Server!

 Enclave Day is a full 16 hours of nonstop missions broken into 4-hour blocks — sign up for as many as you like! It's totally free, we give loaner copies to people who don't own the game, and anyone who does own the game will get a free Reward Class for participating!

Sign up here if you'd like to participate! This is a Discord-only event, but don't worry — if you're not a fan of Discord, there will absolutely be other ways to acquire these cool Reward Classes available in future.

FEBRUARY UPDATE — Advent PDF Fulfillment & some bad news

Good to see you everyone,

I've got good news and bad news for you today, so let's start with the good.

Advent PDF Ready

It's done, and it's about to be sent your way. Over the next couple days, keep an eye on your emails for your BackerKit Surveys, which must be completed in order for you to download your copy of ENCLAVE: Advent (including an optional small file size version for those of you who need to save hard drive space).

You can also add additional items to your orders if you'd like!

Once you get the game, if you're looking for people to play with, be sure to join our Discord and make a post over in the #looking-for-game channel!

Here's what's next for the project:

What's Been Done:

• Advent is 100% finalized
• Pledge Manager has been set up and surveys are being sent

What's Being Worked On:

• Aspirant's text (about 80% done)

Pre-Order Store

Thanks to BackerKit, ENCLAVE now has a polished eCommerce storefront! If you or anyone you know wants to support the game now that the campaign is over, point them towards our Pre-Order Store! Anything ordered here will be fulfilled alongside the Kickstarter Pledges once they are ready, and any items that are already done can be purchased normally!

The Bad

If you are on our Discord Server you will already have seen this, but it needs to be shared here too: over the last month, my family has been dealing with a substantial emergency. Given that we also have a new baby due in just under three weeks from now, this could not be more poorly timed.

I wanted to make absolutely sure that Advent was fulfilled before March, but this emergency is going to mean a substantial delay for the rest of the project. My guess is 2-3 months, though I do not know for sure and will be trying my utmost to keep the process rolling as best I can.

I apologize for these delays. I hate missing deadlines. 

Thank you all so much for your patience and understanding. I really hope you enjoy Advent, and I can't wait to show you the rest of the final products.

JANUARY UPDATE — Advent Nearly Ready!

Good to see you everyone! 

Happy New Year to you all. I hope you've been able to dodge the various sicknesses that have been going around! My family and I have, unfortunately, not been so lucky, but the show must go on!

Let's jump right into the news — what's been up with ENCLAVE?

What's Been Done:

• Advent's text is 100% finalized and proofread
• Advent's major art pieces are finished

What's Being Worked On:

• Layouts and secondary art for Advent (just starting)
• Aspirant's text (about 66% done)

Here's an action shot of what the first page of Advent is shaping up to look like:

Based on this progress, it's now looking like the PDFs for ENCLAVE: Advent will be fulfilled in early February, with Aspirant still slated for March.

In other news...

Late Pledges are OVER!

If you're hoping to pick up ENCLAVE, please hang tight until February — the Advent PDFs will be listed for sale once they have been fulfilled to backers!

The PDF for Aspirant will also be made publicly available after the backers get them.

The ADHDM

ENCLAVE got featured in this absolute masterpiece of a video by The ADHDM, one of the smartest and most creative TTRPG content creators out these. You owe it to yourself to check out this video and the channel overall, it's such good content. I was even lucky enough to do a long-form interview with The ADHDM, which also got published!

"A Black So Black It's Red"

Meekable, veteran player and mainstay over on our Discord Server, played a lot of ENCLAVE in 2025. This was her 100th mission of the year, recorded as a special celebration of this massive commitment to the game. And hot damn was it good. One of the longest recorded missions we've ever published on the Enclave YouTube Channel, A Black So Black It's Red features exceptionally high-level play, a seriously dangerous threat, and some cool callbacks to the game's distant past.

If you're up for some long-form viewing, I cannot recommend it enough.

It's been about a month since our campaign ended (can you believe it?), and I'm pleased to report that we are still fully on track for ENCLAVE: Advent to be released as a PDF in Jan, with all other products to follow thereafter.

Late Pledges for ENCLAVE are currently OPEN!

So even if you or someone you know missed the campaign, you can still jump in and back the project until we ring in the new year!

In other news...

ENCLAVE DAY

Enclave Day is a completely free full-day event on our Discord broken into 4-hour blocks. You'll be given a loaner copy of the original rules so you can play right away! 

Anyone who backed this campaign will also receive a reward for participating: a playable draft of Advent V2 before its official release! 
(Note that this reward will be given out AFTER Enclave Day)

With Advent V2 nearing completion, it'll soon be time to retire Advent V1, Enclave's first published ruleset from back in 2023. 

As such, you can now download the first 15 pages of Advent V1 for free to read through and try with your friends!

While Advent v1 lacks many of the awesome updates that the new Advent v2 and Aspirant expansion feature, it’s a solid introduction to the game and has entertained hundreds of players across many hundreds of sessions for over two years.

Projects I Love

A friend showed me this project, which is yet to launch, and I wanted to pass it on to all the 5e players out there.

 Artifacts of Power

Diablo-style Set Items is something I've actually experimented with in ENCLAVE before, but DnD is definitely a better fit. I'm shocked something like this hasn't been done before, and it looks like a high-quality production. Definitely check it out if you play 5e and want some new tables to pour over!

Adventure On

The good folks over at Adventure On interviewed me while the campaign was live, and the full edited video is now live on their channel! Some really great questions there, several of which I've never been asked before.

Mission — "A Vampire's Diary"

A fast, punchy, and utterly hilarious outing, featuring Gabriel & Pinja of The Ugly Goblin as well as Skyler of The ADHDM! I had a really hard time not breaking character to burst out laughing on this one.

Series — "Last Train from Narvul"

Our second ever fully-recorded long-form ENCLAVE Series! Last Train from Narvul is incredibly intense, with blood-pumping action, huge character moments, and a major character death already... and this is just the first two Episodes!

WE DID IT — Victory Update

Good to see you everyone!

After a month on Kickstarter, ENCLAVE: Aspirant has closed with a whopping $40,000+ in funds raised by 500+ brilliant backers. 
To each and every one of you, thank you. This could not have happened without you, and I will forever be grateful. 

What Comes Next?

Over the next week or two, Kickstarter will be processing your pledges. Please make sure you have a working credit card so Kickstarter can properly collect your pledge! 

If you'd like to hear more about what the coming months hold in store, check out the 8-minute video below!

To briefly summarize:

• Digital content will be fulfilled piece by piece as it is finished and should be done by next April
•  If you want early access to playable drafts of the books, come participate in upcoming events on our Discord!
• A link to our pledge manager, allowing you to input your shipping info and similar, should be sent out by Dec/Jan
• Late pledges are open — anyone who missed the campaign can STILL contribute!
• Big future projects are in the pipeline for ENCLAVE once this campaign is fulfilled
